What we collect from you
When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and Google account ID. We don't see or store your Google password.
We also store what you create in Linqo: your links, folders, domains, reports and settings.
What we collect when someone clicks a link
For each click we record the time, the link, the country, the device type, the browser and operating system, and the website the visitor came from.
We do not store visitors' IP addresses. To count unique visitors we keep a one-way code that changes every day, so a visitor can't be identified or followed from one day to the next.
How we use it
- To run the service: redirect links and show you click statistics.
- To keep it safe: check links for malware and phishing, and stop abuse.
- To contact you about your account, for example when you request a paid plan.
We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Services we use
Linqo runs on Cloudflare (hosting) and Neon (database). Links are checked against URLhaus, a public list of malicious websites. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
Analytics on our website
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics on linqo.co to understand how people find and use our website. These tools may set cookies. They are not added to your short links.
Tracking pixels
If you add a tracking pixel (Meta, Google, TikTok or LinkedIn) to a link, that company's script loads for visitors of that link. You are responsible for getting visitor consent where the law requires it. Links without pixels load no third-party scripts.
How long we keep it
Click data is deleted after about 13 months. When you delete your account, your links, reports and click data are deleted with it.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your links at any time, and delete your account from Settings. To ask what data we hold about you, email us.
